Internet Plans

Thank you for considering Sugarloaf Network Systems. Our company offers two types of internet services, Legacy and LTE. Our Legacy service has been part of our point-to-point network structure since 2001 and expands from Maryland to Virginia. If our Legacy system is not currently available in the area of your location we offer the LTE service* as a second option. The LTE service runs off of towers in in Montgomery and Loudoun Counties. Contact us to find out which service is available at your specific location.

*Availability of each plan and associated speeds are determined by site conditions, proximity to our towers, and other variables.  All plans are not always available to all customers in all locations.

Existing customers wishing to take advantage of a faster speed Legacy FiberWave plan may upgrade their equipment for a one-time cost of $125, then pick any of the plans listed above.

LEGACY PLANS

Our Legacy Fiberwave technology utilizes the latest generation of wireless equipment coupled with fiber optic connections to offer customers much higher speeds than other wireless Internet companies at very competitive rates. FiberWave technology is available across our entire service area and supports high speed applications such as VPN, video streaming with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, Voice Over IP telephones, video security cameras, etc.

4G LTE TECHNOLOGY

Our LTE technology offers high speed Internet service beyond the reach of our Legacy Fiberwave network, and potentially offers speeds up to 100 Mbps. The speed of the LTE connection at your location is determined by the strength of the signal between your location and the closest tower. These plans start at 300 GB monthly premium data package.

Installation Process and Equipment – If you’re interested in our 4G LTE service, we provide you with an antenna and all cords needed to set up the connection.  The installation kit does not include a wireless router. When we install your equipment, we will find the best location inside your location for the LTE antenna, based on speed test results at several locations inside your location.  We allow you to test the antenna for one week under varying weather conditions and network loads.  If you decide to keep the service, we bill you for the equipment and the monthly service charge.  If you choose not to keep the service, you return the equipment to us and there is no cost to you.
